So far, it’s been the year of medical bills.
Our little guy had buckle fractures in two of his fingers which meant a visit to his doctor, ex-rays and then a visit to the orthopedic. Fortunately, treatment for these types of fractures are keeping them buddy wrapped for a couple weeks and that’s it.
Today, our youngest had to have a Thyroglossal Duct Cyst Excision. Prior to this it was a visit to her doctor, then a visit to the surgeon. She will have a follow up with the surgeon as well.
Our 16-yr-old has Hashimoto’s disease and will see her endocrinologist this week. She also had to go visit a surgeon for a consultation regarding an inconclusive test result.
Hubby has had some doctor visits as well including some injections for foot pain. He now needs and MRI to determine the best treatment for his foot pain.
Folks!!! We are only 3 months into 2026, and we have more than met our high deductible.

It’s years like this that make me realize that paying higher taxes to get universal health care would probably save us a lot of money.
