At the moment, the only cruise plans we have for our family is a cruise in July on Mariner of the Seas.
In January, 2026 I embark on a Girl’s cruise on Freedom of the Seas. The kids will stay home with hubby, so a nice little break for me to hang out with my friends for a few days.
Life stays busy in the World of Weeks though, thanks to the kid’s activities.
Naomi is in a little show called “Alice in Wonderland” in May where she will play the role of the Mad Hatter.
This past Saturday, she auditioned for another show that some of you may have heard of called “Guys and Dolls”. It’s part of a high school summer theatre program here and last night she got word that she has been cast to be one of the Hot Box dancers, which she really wanted. She is also part of the ensemble cast. To say she is excited would be an understatement.
Arryn is also in a Jr Musical Theatre program and will be part of a cast performing a little show called “Swamped”. The show is about all the swamp creatures trying to prepare for a big swamp party while navigating friendship, tolerance and courage.
This summer she will attend a week-long camp thru the same Jr Musical Theatre program. At the end of the week they will have a performance of “Squirm”. It’s all about the creepy crawly creatures that make us squirm.
Both girls have discovered their love of three things.
- Dancing
- Singing
- Being on stage
And not necessarily in that order. I’m so happy they are doing something that brings them so much joy.
