Cruise #11 In The Books

We just returned from our 11th cruise. This time we sailed out of Galveston on Mariner of the Seas. It was a group cruise with friends, some who had never cruised before. I think they are now hooked on cruising too.

While the ship was nice, it was certainly not my favorite Royal Caribbean ship. It doesn’t have splash pad and slides for kids. Although we knew this going in and were okay with it. Being a Voyager Class ship, it also didn’t have a dedicated Sorrento’s pizza. Instead, it had a few pizza choices in Cafe Promenade. We enjoyed the food in the Windjammer and the Main Dining Room. One of the couples that were on the cruise with us went to Chop’s Grille and said it was VERY GOOD. One day we might actually try it ourselves. Some went ice skating on board and had a good time. Trivia was a hit as always and we enjoyed one of the shows in the Royal Theater. Our favorite pre-dinner handout was Boleros, and we enjoyed drinks in the Bamboo Room several times during the cruise.

Overall, it was a fantastic time. Now for some photos from our trip. (Please forgive the blurry photo. I was having some trouble with my phone which I eventually resolved, but loved this picture of my little beauty.)
