I know this has been a slow blog week for me, but I do have a couple of pieces of good news to share.

1.  I am a great-aunt again.  My niece and her husband had their first baby.  A 9 lb 2 oz baby boy they named Luke Benjamin.  Yes, they named him after Ben and I can’t even begin to say how touched I am.

2.  About 2 years ago I was contacted by a woman wanting information on adoption.  Very quickly she and I became good friends and yesterday she was able to announce that are now the legal parents of a beautiful little girl from Bulgaria.  They will be leaving in a few weeks to go bring her home and I am thrilled!
