The girls and I have been enjoying our road trip.

At the moment, we’re relaxing in our hotel room in North Hollywood.  Shortly, we’ll head to the pool for our energy burn and then get some rest before heading to Universal Studios tomorrow.  Lili turns 9 on Saturday and she has been asking to go see the Wizarding World of Harry Potter for months now.  The weather is looking good, so I’m hopeful we’ll have a great time.  I’ve never been, so this will be a first for all three of us.

When we get back to Texas, I’ll post photos and share stories from our trip.  Until then, we’re pretty much playing it all by ear and doing whatever sounds fun in the moment.  Not something I’ve done a lot of in my life, so this is a much needed experience.
