4 Seasons

For much of my life I’ve lived somewhere that has 4 distinct seasons.

When we moved to Texas, that changed.

Summer is hot. There really isn’t any other way to describe it.

Fall doesn’t have the crispness in the air I grew up with. Yes, leaves fall, but I have yet to see the vivid colors I’ve spent most of my life viewing.

Winter is cool with a few nights dipping down below 32 degrees. This past winter was very different from the previous ones when we got snow and days of freezing weather, but that is not the norm.

Springs are warm and stormy.

For the most part it hasn’t bothered me, but I do miss living somewhere that has 4 distinct seasons. It’s fall and I guess I miss seeing those vibrant colors. They just aren’t the same here.
