.6 lbs – That was my total weight loss for the week.
My initial reaction was, “What?!” and then I decided to be happy about the fact that I have continued to steadily lose weight over the last 35 days.
In addition, I managed to lose .6 lbs while away from home for 4 days. I managed to lose .6 lbs while spending 26+ hours sitting in the van making stops that were just long enough to gas up the van, take a potty break and grab a bite to eat for the road. In the past, those circumstances would have caused me to gain weight, but instead I took off .6 lbs.
So today I’m happy that I was able to take a short trip and still lose weight. I’m happy that over the last 35 days I’ve lost 10.2 lbs. That’s an average weight loss of 2.4 lbs per week.
Now I’m home and need to make good food choices, move more and do what I can to reach my weekly goal of a 2 lb weight loss.
