After 2 weeks of very minimal weight loss, my body played catch-up this week and I dropped 3.6 lbs. I have officially lost 13.8 lbs since starting the challenge and am 11.2 lbs away from my 90 days goal of a 25 lbs weight loss. I’m also seeing the results in other ways. While I haven’t checked my measurements in a couple of weeks (I will do that soon), I was able to wear some clothes that haven’t seen the outside of the dresser in 1-2 years. It’s a great feeling to know that my efforts are paying off and while I may have some weeks that on the surface don’t appear successful to me, are in very successful in the long-term.
So many of you have encouraged me and supported me over the last 42 days and I really can’t express how much that means to me. Having a wonderful support system has helped me keep moving forward so many times during this process. I hope that in some little way my journey is encouraging others.
Having had such a big week this past week, I’m setting my weekly weight loss goal at 1.5 lbs.
