I saw this report today http://t.money.msn.com/investing/8-retailers-ruining-thanksgiving#image=1.
The report lists 8 retailers who are ruining Thanksgiving because they have chosen to open on Thanksgiving day.
What I find so humorous about this report, is that the blame is being placed on retailers. Why? No store would open their doors if consumers refused to enter those doors on Thanksgiving. Yet, millions of dollars will be made as people exit the Thanksgiving table and race to get the best deals offered. We have turned into a society that will trade family time in an effort to garner the best deal and that’s what retailers are hoping for.
