Believe

Hubby took the girls to see the movie “Frozen” and I took the opportunity to get things done here at home while they were gone.  Of course I couldn’t do anything without Christmas music playing in the background, so I found a mix of different Christmas songs on YouTube and started working while I listened.

The song “Believe” by Josh Groban came on.  I’ve always thought it was a very pretty song, but never took the time to listen to the words.  I mean really listen to the words.  Today that changed.  I listened to the words of the song and realized, that even though this is a Christmas song, it’s also a motivational song.

Believe in what your heart is saying
Hear the melody that’s playing
There’s no time to waste
There’s so much to celebrate
Believe in what you feel inside
And give your dreams the wings to fly
you’ll have everything you need
If you just believe

If we have enough belief in our dreams, nothing can stop us from making those dreams come true.

  1. I am glad that you got some time alone and some reminders about what you are working towards. But I do hate that you missed the movie…I LOVED it! One of the songs from that movie has become a favorite of mine. Hope the girls loved it!

    1. The girls loved it. Naomi doesn’t necessarily enjoy going to the theater to see movies – big screen, dark and high volume. However, she talks of going back to see “Frozen” again. Hubby even enjoyed it and spoke highly of the message. I have no doubt this movie will become part of our video library one day, so I’ll have the opportunity to see it over and over and over and over . . . . . .
