I wonder why the seller said No to the temporary lease? Sorry you are STILL hitting snags!!!!!!!!!
Because the homeowner still carries the insurance on the house, there is some liability is allowing a buyer to take possession early. Don’t know if that was the reasoning behind it, but at this point, maybe it will work out for the best.
I was so hoping the “yes” was to getting into that house when I saw the title. Still hopeful that it will be sooner rather than later!
