For those who were wondering just how long it took Lili to change her tune about Naomi being the ‘best baby sister.’  The bickering didn’t begin until about 4:45 that afternoon.  Granted, a couple of hours of that was taken up by naps, but it sure was nice to see the two of them loving each other.

For those who are wondering about our weekend.  We are going to be in the North Dallas area visiting family, boating, fishing, swimming and eating Ethiopian food.  It’s going to be a quick trip, but we are very much looking forward to some time away in the heat and sun.

For those who are wondering about homeschooling.  Things are going well.  Lili’s reading and math skills continue to improve.  Naomi has started doing some workbooks and is very pleased with herself.   She very much enjoys math time, which consists of counting games like “Hi Ho Cherry-O.”  We are looking forward to cooler weather and several nature walks as we explore the wonderful world of bugs.

For those who are wondering about foster care.  We have not received another placement.  For a matter-of-fact, we’ve not even gotten a phone call.   Honestly, we’re not quite sure where we want to go from here regarding foster care, so no calls is a good thing right now.
