Our vacation was a last minute decision and now it’s over.

Memories were made. Good memories with a few exceptions.

We did some beach hopping this trip seeing Siesta Key, Manatee Beach and Fort Myers. Although I managed to miss getting any picture of Fort Myers Beach.

We visited Sarasota Jungle Gardens, which I enjoyed so much more than I thought I would.

We got to see Lili’s former art teacher, tried some local restaurants, swam, shopped and enjoyed time as a family.

Our little rental house left A LOT to be desired. The location was great, but the house was not at all what we thought it would be.

A visit to Fort Myers Beach for some lunch left us hungry. Apparently, at least one member of the wait staff didn’t realize that she needed to also take food orders after dropping off drinks.

But the weather was BEAUTIFUL! Sunshine and warm temperatures was just what the doctor ordered.

We have already talked about going back to spend more time in Fort Myers on our next trip. Hopefully with better accommodations and more luck getting lunch.

For now though, it’s back to reality.
