I’ve considered taking a photo of myself, posting it here and hoping it will motivate me to get moving. In all seriousness, I need to lose about 40 lbs of excess weight off this body. It would be wonderful to look at a photo from January 2011 and look at a photo of a much smaller me in December, 2011, right? I’ll have to think on that one some more.
In the meantime, I’ve managed to snap at least one photo a day since starting 365Project. Granted, I’m not the best as getting them copied to the computer and posted here on a daily basis, but at least I’m taking the photos and for me, that’s great progress 🙂
Here are a couple of pics I took yesterday, January 4, 2011.
Dave and I went out and got new Windows Phone 7’s shortly after they came out. Lili has discovered the fun of using daddy’s phone to play games. Last night she was sitting by daddy, drinking some milk, and playing a game. I don’t think she even realized I took her picture. What focus!
While Lili was playing her game, Naomi was working hard at climbing up on the recliner. Somehow I managed to get a beautiful shot of her looking my way between climbing attempts.
For those who followed me at World of Weeks on blogspot.com, you know I purchased my first DSLR camera some months ago. It is a Nikon D3000 and honestly, I have done very little in the way of figuring out all the features of this camera and it shows in many of my photos. Santa realized this as well and gave me the Nikon D3000 for Dummies book. Slowly, but surely I’m making my way through this book and hoping that 365Project will not only show our life through pictures this year, but will show improvement in my photography skills as well.
Love the pics. Keep up the photo taking. 🙂
